Beijing UBOX Online Technology Corp. (UBOX Online) reported a fresh on-market share buyback on 7 September 2026, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The company repurchased 21,000 H shares on the Exchange at prices between HK$1.84 and HK$1.905, for a volume-weighted average cost of HK$1.8944 per share. Total consideration amounted to HK$0.04 million, representing 0.0021% of the issuer’s outstanding share capital before the transaction.
Post-transaction, UBOX Online’s issued shares (excluding treasury shares) declined to 978.10 million, while treasury shares rose to 9.08 million. The total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 987.18 million, reflecting the accounting treatment of repurchased shares held in treasury.
The buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate granted on 28 May 2026, which authorises the company to acquire up to 94.65 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 9.08 million shares, equivalent to 0.96% of the share capital outstanding on the mandate date. Pursuant to Hong Kong listing rules, UBOX Online is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 7 October 2026.
