Hong Kong – 11 September 2026 – China Tobacco International (HK) Company Limited (CTIHK, 06055) has released its 2026 Interim Report in both English and Chinese. The document is now accessible on the HKEXnews website and on the company’s own site (www.ctihk.com.hk).

In parallel, CTIHK formally adopted full electronic dissemination of corporate communications in line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rule 2.07A, which underpins the exchange’s paperless regime effective since 31 December 2023. Key implementation details are as follows:

• Coverage scope: Electronic distribution will apply to all corporate communications, including annual and interim reports, meeting notices, circulars, listing documents and proxy forms.

• Actionable documents: Materials requiring shareholder instructions—such as dividend election forms or rights-issue acceptances—will be emailed individually. If an investor’s email address is unavailable or invalid, hard-copy actionable documents will be mailed together with a request for an updated email address.

• Shareholder response window: Registered shareholders have 28 days—until 9 October 2026—to object to electronic delivery or to provide a functional email address. Absence of a reply constitutes deemed consent to receive future communications solely via the company and HKEXnews websites, with notification letters sent thereafter.

• Opt-outs and special requests: Shareholders may at any time request printed copies or change their preferred communication method by notifying the Hong Kong share registrar, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited. Printed-copy requests are valid for one year and can be renewed.

The company highlights that electronic distribution is intended to improve timeliness of information dissemination and align with sustainability objectives. Shareholders can submit their email details by scanning a personalized QR code on the enclosed reply form or by returning the signed form to the share registrar.

Investor inquiries can be directed to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services at +852 2862 8688 during business hours or via email at ctihk.ecom@computershare.com.hk.
