Nanofilm Technologies International Limited on Aug, 14 2026 announced its financial results for the six months ended Jun, 30 2026 (“1H 2026”), posting a 6% year-on-year increase in revenue to 114 million Singapore dollars.

Group profitability improved sharply: adjusted EBITDA grew 28% to 31.3 million Singapore dollars, lifting the margin to 27.5% from 22.8% a year earlier, while profit after tax climbed 282% to 5.3 million Singapore dollars. Gross profit margin expanded six percentage points to 38.6%.

The Advanced Materials Business Unit remained the largest contributor, accounting for 87% of revenue and growing 10% to 98 million Singapore dollars. Within this, Advanced Materials – Consumer revenue rose 10% and Advanced Materials – Industrial advanced 9%. Nanofabrication Business Unit revenue increased 11%, while Industrial Equipment Business Unit revenue fell 29% owing to delivery timing; management said the order backlog is at a multi-year high with visibility into 2027. Sydrogen Energy’s revenue declined 44% but the segment targets EBITDA breakeven by year-end following the award of a multi-year fuel-cell bipolar plate contract from a leading Chinese automaker.

Operating cash flow reached 44.8 million Singapore dollars, and cash on hand stood at 88.7 million Singapore dollars as at Jun, 30 2026. The board proposed an interim dividend of 0.60 Singapore cents per share, up from 0.33 Singapore cents a year earlier.

Management expects a stronger second half driven by programme ramp-ups, a robust secured order pipeline, and ongoing commercialisation of new products in semiconductors, optics, robotics and new-energy applications.
