Fuel Prices Set for Significant Increase: Motorists Urged to Refuel Before Wednesday Evening

Residents in Shaoyang are advised to fill up their tanks promptly, as a major hike in fuel prices is imminent.

At 24:00 on September 11th, the country will witness its 18th fuel price adjustment of the year. Based on data from the 9th working day (as of September 10th), gasoline and diesel prices are projected to increase by 340 RMB per tonne and 330 RMB per tonne, respectively.

In terms of retail prices, this translates to a rise of 0.27 RMB per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 0.29 RMB per liter for 95-octane gasoline, and 0.28 RMB per liter for 0-diesel.

For a standard 50-liter tank, motorists can expect to pay an additional 13.5 to 14.5 RMB per fill-up. (Please note that the final adjustment will be confirmed by the National Development and Reform Commission.)
