Midea Group Co., Ltd. announced minor capital structure adjustments following activities on 8 September 2026.

Key transactions • Share repurchase: The company bought back 800,000 A-shares on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange at prices ranging from RMB 84.68 to RMB 86.15, incurring a total outlay of RMB 68.19 million. The repurchased shares have been moved into treasury stock and represent 0.0117 % of the company’s pre-event outstanding share base. • Option exercise: 48,250 new A-shares were issued at RMB 41.44 per share under the Ninth Stock Option Incentive Plan, adding roughly RMB 2.00 million in proceeds. These newly issued shares equal 0.0007 % of shares outstanding before the transactions.

Capital structure impact • Outstanding shares (excluding treasury stock) decreased to 6.812 billion from 6.813 billion, a net reduction of 751,750 shares, or 0.011 %. • Treasury shares increased to 166.11 million from 165.31 million due to the buyback. • Total issued shares, including treasury stock, edged up marginally to 6.978 billion, reflecting the small option-related issuance.

Regulatory compliance Management confirmed that the board duly authorised both the share repurchase and the option-related issuance, and that all procedures complied with applicable regulations of the Shenzhen and Hong Kong stock exchanges.

The repurchased shares are currently held in treasury; no cancellations have been executed as of the disclosure date.
