From September 7 to September 13, the National Financial Regulatory Administration, the People's Bank of China, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission will jointly host the "2026 Financial Education and Awareness Week" under the theme "Clear Financial Networks, Safeguarding Peace of Mind Consumption." China Taiping is actively responding to regulatory directives and implementing the campaign's work arrangements. Starting from the needs of the general public and integrating with customer service, the company will carry out a series of differentiated and scenario-based financial knowledge promotion activities to enhance the coverage, precision, and accessibility of financial education.

In response to the public's financial needs and focusing on daily service scenarios, the initiative prioritizes addressing the "digital divide" faced by elderly residents and individuals with disabilities. By leveraging technological tools, China Taiping aims to improve age-friendly, digital, and intelligent service levels, promote the safe use of convenient and beneficial services, and advocate for digital and smart financial services that protect the people's interests. Emphasizing a prevention-first approach, the campaign strengthens alerts against marketing tactics such as concealed risks and exaggerated return promises, as well as financial network issues like the spread of false information and emerging risk disturbances. It further reminds the public to guard against "black and gray industries," continuously helping consumers enhance their risk awareness and prevention capabilities.

Addressing the differentiated financial needs of various groups, the campaign focuses on seniors, youth, drivers and crew members, rural residents, and people with disabilities. Targeted activities will deliver precise, easy-to-understand financial knowledge, including insurance product suitability management, to ensure effective outreach. Additionally, the campaign promotes knowledge on legal rights protection and remedy pathways for financial consumers, publicizing service channels for feedback and dispute resolution from local authorities and institutions. It guides consumers to steer clear of illegal "agency rights protection" and other non-compliant activities, helping the public better understand, exercise, and protect their rights.

Firmly upholding the principles of honest operations and service for the people, the campaign addresses the regulation of financial marketing behaviors and the eradication of sales misconduct, unauthorized fees, and other practices that infringe on consumer rights. It will conduct policy briefings and compliance training for staff and partner institutions, increase promotion of integrity models, foster a culture of compliance, and jointly build a healthy industry ecosystem. China Taiping will fully utilize its branch networks, online platforms, and other proprietary channels and resources to carry out activities such as "Delivering Consumer Protection Tips to Your Doorstep," continuously enriching the content and forms of financial education campaigns, providing risk reminders and knowledge dissemination during customer service, and striving to achieve an organic integration of financial education and service.
