J&T Global Express Limited (J&T Express-W) disclosed a repurchase of 1.61 million Class B weighted-voting-rights (WVR) ordinary shares on 2 September 2026. The transaction was executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 9.685 to HKD 9.740 per share, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 9.71 per share and an aggregate cash outlay of HKD 15.67 million.

Post-transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell to 8.66 billion shares from 8.67 billion, a marginal reduction of 0.0186%. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury shares, lifting the treasury stock balance to 11.51 million shares, while total shares in issue (including treasury shares) remain unchanged at 8.68 billion.

The buyback forms part of the mandate approved at the 25 June 2026 general meeting, which authorises repurchases of up to 967.47 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 38.31 million shares, equivalent to 0.40% of the issued share base at mandate date. In line with Hong Kong listing regulations, J&T Express-W is subject to a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales, effective until 2 October 2026.

Joint Company Secretary Cheng Ching Kit confirmed that the repurchase complied with Main Board Rule 10.06 and that no material changes have been made to the company’s June 3 Explanatory Statement.
