Smart Farming Machines Drive Bumper Harvest Efficiency

He Licun, a worker at the Fourth Company of Fangcaohu Farm in the Sixth Division, noted that this year the farm deployed 40 intelligent plant protection robots for coordinated field operations, giving him a firsthand experience of the convenience brought by smart agriculture. It was his first time using these robots to spray cotton defoliant, and the entire process could be managed remotely, with even liquid distribution and strong soil penetration, allowing work to continue both day and night.

Compared to traditional drone-based crop protection, the intelligent robots deliver more uniform application, boosting pesticide efficiency by 30% to 50% while cutting chemical usage by 35%. This not only saves labor costs and reduces crop loss during treatment but also effectively ensures the quality of cotton defoliation.
