China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Corp.) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 07 September 2026, detailing recent share repurchase activity and confirming that its issued share capital remains unchanged.

• Share Capital Position – H shares in issue: 23.78 billion (no change). – A shares in issue: 97.14 billion (no change). – No treasury shares were held as at 07 September 2026.

• Cumulative Repurchases Pending Cancellation (18 June – 7 September 2026) – H shares: 100.20 million shares, equivalent to 0.42% of the H-share float and 0.08% of the company’s total issued shares. Transaction prices ranged from HKD 4.01 to HKD 4.79. – A shares: 104.26 million shares, equal to roughly 0.11% of the A-share float. Purchase prices ranged from RMB 4.46 to RMB 5.28.

• Latest Transaction (07 September 2026) – 2.24 million H shares repurchased on the Exchange at prices between HKD 4.69 and HKD 4.78, for a total consideration of HKD 10.61 million. These shares are earmarked for cancellation.

• Repurchase Mandate Utilisation – Mandate approved on 13 May 2026 authorises repurchases of up to 2.38 billion shares (10% of issued capital). – To date, 100.20 million H shares have been repurchased under the mandate, representing 0.08% of the company’s total issued shares at the approval date.

• Regulatory Notes – In line with HKEX Main Board Rule 10.06, Sinopec Corp. is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares, effective until 07 October 2026. – The company states that all buy-backs complied with relevant rules of both the Hong Kong and Shanghai exchanges.
