Petrobras has announced it will eliminate the R$0.44 per liter discount on type A gasoline and simultaneously increase the price of this fuel by R$0.19 per liter for distributors, with the adjustment taking effect from Thursday.

Following this change, the price of type A gasoline for distributors will be R$3.24 per liter. The company noted that the total price increase has been offset by the R$0.63 federal tax reduction previously announced by the government.

Petrobras also stated that it is currently awaiting the official publication of the government's diesel subsidy documentation.
