Muyuan Foods Buys Back 277,300 H Shares for HK$10.14 Million, Lifts Treasury Stock to 0.28% of Issued Shares

Muyuan Foods Group Co., Ltd. reported that it repurchased 277,300 H shares on 2 September 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The buy-back was executed at prices ranging from HK$35.88 to HK$36.72 per share, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HK$36.58 per share and an aggregate consideration of HK$10.14 million.

Key post-transaction metrics: • Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.09% to 309.37 million. • Treasury shares increased from 575,600 to 852,900, taking the treasury stake to about 0.28% of current issued shares. • Total issued shares remained unchanged at 310.22 million, as the repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock and not yet cancelled.

Mandate utilisation: • The repurchase forms part of the mandate approved on 13 May 2026, which authorises buy-backs of up to 31.02 million shares. • Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 852,900 shares, equivalent to 0.27% of the company’s issued share base at the mandate date.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Muyuan Foods is restricted from issuing, selling or transferring any treasury shares for 30 days following the 2 September transaction, establishing a moratorium through 2 October 2026.
