The 15th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference is taking place in Beijing from September 8 to 9, centered on the theme of "Striving to Drive High-Quality Development of Intellectual Property in the '15th Five-Year Plan' Period."
According to the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the country's number of valid domestic invention patents has reached 5.394 million, while the tally of valid domestic registered trademarks has hit 50.816 million.
Moreover, China's Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) international patent applications have ranked first globally for seven consecutive years. Its industrial design applications under the Hague System and international trademark applications via the Madrid System are also both positioned among the top ranks worldwide.
