MicroPort Scientific Corporation (MicroPort) disclosed a delay in publishing its interim results for the six-month period ended 30 June 2026, originally due by 31 August 2026 under Hong Kong Listing Rule 13.49(6).
The Board stated that additional time is required for the audit committee and management to complete a thorough review of financial reporting issues linked to ongoing negotiations over a new property lease. Key outstanding matters include: • Finalising unit rent, lease term and leased area under the Proposed Lease. • Assessing the security-deposit arrangements, including the size, timing and potential refund of deposits related to both the Proposed Lease and existing agreements. • Evaluating the recoverability of the security deposit, the reasonableness of renovation costs and the relationship between the Group and the landlord and its associates.
Given these unresolved items, the Board meeting scheduled for 31 August 2026 to approve the 2026 Interim Results has been postponed.
In accordance with Listing Rule 13.50, trading in MicroPort’s shares and debt securities on the Stock Exchange will be suspended from 9:00 a.m. on 1 September 2026 and remain halted until the interim financial results are released.
The company will issue further announcements to confirm the rescheduled Board meeting date and the new timetable for publishing the 2026 Interim Results. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in MicroPort securities.
