According to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange disclosure on September 13, Robotechnik Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 300757.SZ) has successfully passed the hearing for its main board listing. Citigroup, Huatai International, and Orient Securities International are serving as joint sponsors for the company's listing application.
Based on the prospectus, Robotechnik operates as a global supplier of manufacturing equipment and systems for both the photovoltaic and silicon photonics industries. Its photovoltaic manufacturing solutions encompass three main components: photovoltaic manufacturing equipment, which includes automated machinery for solar cell production handling tasks like silicon wafer loading and unloading; complete production lines, where the company integrates its own equipment with machinery sourced from third-party vendors, along with associated design, configuration, and installation services to deliver customized end-to-end solutions tailored to specific client requirements; and intelligent manufacturing systems, a software-centric solution built on the company's proprietary R2Fab MES platform designed to enable automated factory operations across customer production facilities.
Since initiating a minority investment in ficonTEC in 2020 and completing its full acquisition in 2025, the company has continuously advanced the development of intelligent manufacturing equipment for silicon photonics devices. Through ficonTEC, Robotechnik offers two core product lines: assembly equipment and testing equipment. According to CIC data, these products address the critical stages of silicon photonics assembly and testing. The assembly equipment precisely positions components of silicon photonics devices and secures them using bonding technology, with applications spanning standalone systems, inline systems, and fiber preparation systems, capable of scaling from research and development phases through to high-volume production. The testing equipment conducts electrical, optical, and mixed-signal optoelectronic testing and characterization of silicon photonics devices at wafer, die, chip, and module levels throughout the entire manufacturing process.
According to CIC research, based on 2025 revenue figures, the company ranks fifth globally in the intelligent photovoltaic cell automated manufacturing equipment sector, holding a 2.6% market share, while ranking first worldwide in silicon photonics intelligent manufacturing equipment with a substantial 20.5% market share. China represents the largest market for photovoltaic intelligent manufacturing equipment, reaching approximately RMB 90.9 billion in 2025. Furthermore, emerging markets such as India are projected to contribute increasingly to future market growth. India's market size is expected to expand from approximately RMB 3.8 billion in 2025 to RMB 5.0 billion by 2030, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of 5.8%. As local photovoltaic manufacturing capabilities continue to develop, demand for photovoltaic manufacturing equipment in other emerging regions is also anticipated to rise.
Supported by economies of scale, an integrated photovoltaic manufacturing supply chain, and a mature domestic equipment ecosystem, equipment pricing in China typically remains lower, while pricing in emerging markets such as India and the United States tends to be higher, reflecting elevated equipment and machinery costs, greater dependence on imported equipment, and higher project delivery expenses. The expected expansion of photovoltaic manufacturing capacity in overseas markets including India and the United States is projected to drive additional demand for photovoltaic manufacturing equipment, with anticipated growth in solar installations and manufacturing capacity in India during 2026 primarily boosting equipment sales volumes. The relatively higher equipment pricing in these markets will present further opportunities for equipment suppliers.
On the financial front, for the fiscal years 2023, 2024, and 2025, along with the four-month period ending April 30, 2026, the company recorded revenues of approximately RMB 1.57 billion, RMB 1.10 billion, RMB 949 million, and RMB 199 million respectively. During the same periods, the company posted net profits/losses of approximately RMB 79 million, RMB 63 million, RMB -45 million, and RMB -75 million respectively.
