ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STTGDC) announced on Sep, 2 2026 that a consortium led by KKR and Singapore Telecommunications (Z74) has completed the previously agreed acquisition of the company and that it has launched a refreshed global brand while retaining the STTGDC name.
The new ownership is expected to give STTGDC additional long-term capital and financial flexibility, with the existing management team, strategy and customer commitments remaining in place.
STTGDC reported that since Dec, 31 2025 its operational capacity has risen 25 % to 780 MW, contracted capacity has grown 50 % and annualised EBITDA has increased 30 % for the period through Jun, 30 2026. The company has secured almost 2 GW of powered land for projects under construction and in its development pipeline.
Across its footprint, STTGDC operates 34 data centres in 10 Indian cities with more than 613 MW of IT capacity, is advancing over 360 MW of AI-ready capacity in Jakarta, and has been selected to develop 50 MW of sustainable capacity in Singapore.
The company said 83.2 % of its electricity consumption is sourced from renewable energy, enabling it to meet its 2028 carbon-intensity reduction target three years early.
