Biocytogen-B (02315) saw its shares jump more than 10% in the afternoon session, last trading up 8.71% at HK$63 with turnover reaching HK$129 million.

According to the company's official WeChat account, Biocytogen recently signed a non-exclusive licensing agreement with Qilu Pharmaceutical. Under the terms of the deal, Biocytogen will grant Qilu Pharmaceutical a fully human nanobody molecule to support its research and development efforts in innovative drug projects targeting the neuroscience field.

The nanobody molecule involved in this collaboration was generated through Biocytogen's proprietary RenNano® platform, which enables the discovery of fully human nanobody molecules with excellent specificity, affinity, and development potential. This platform also provides the molecular foundation for designing and developing single-domain antibodies, bispecific or multispecific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and other innovative formats.

Through this licensing arrangement, Qilu Pharmaceutical can leverage its own R&D strategy to conduct further research and development on the relevant nanobody molecules. The specific development format for future projects will be flexibly determined based on project characteristics and therapeutic needs.
