President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters at Andrews Air Force Base, stated that the confrontation with Iran would come to a swift and decisive end following the U.S. midterm elections, resulting in a significant drop in oil costs.

Mr. Trump indicated that the hostilities would cease after the elections because the Iranian side is nearing its breaking point and cannot sustain the pressure much longer.

He further asserted that Iran is keen on swaying the upcoming U.S. vote to install a lenient administration, which would grant Tehran the green light to develop nuclear arms.

"I anticipate gasoline prices falling below $2 per gallon," the President remarked. He added that reaching this price point would likely occur slightly after the election day, which is scheduled for November 3rd.
