Fuel Prices Rise Tonight: Updated Retail Rates Announced for Yunnan

Deep News
Yesterday

According to the latest update from the National Development and Reform Commission, international crude oil prices have continued to climb sharply since the adjustment of domestic refined oil product prices on August 28th, particularly after the renewed escalation of the US-Iran conflict. The situation has been further aggravated by an abnormal surge in crude oil prices within the Middle East region, which has intensified pressure on global energy markets.

To mitigate the impact of rising international oil prices on the domestic market, while simultaneously ensuring stable economic operations and safeguarding people's livelihoods, the government has decided to implement temporary regulatory measures on domestic refined oil product prices, all while maintaining the existing pricing mechanism framework.

Based on the calculations under the current pricing system, the standard product prices for domestic gasoline and diesel on September 11th should have been raised by 435 yuan and 420 yuan per tonne respectively. However, following the implementation of the regulatory controls, the actual increases have been adjusted to 260 yuan and 250 yuan per tonne respectively.

Following these adjustments, the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel across various regions of Yunnan Province have been officially announced as follows, effective from tonight.
