On September 7th, Berlin time, coinciding with IFA 2026, BOE held its inaugural overseas sub-forum of the IPC (Innovation Partner Conference) in Berlin, Germany. Over 200 partners from Europe and around the globe convened to discuss display industry trends and deepen collaboration.
During the event, BOE introduced its "LIGHT" strategy for the European market, which encompasses five key dimensions: Low-power, Innovation tech, Global Service, High-performance, and Top quality. Regarding technological deployment and globalization, BOE's Deputy Chief Strategy Officer Bai Shi noted that the company is concentrating on IoT innovation as its core business, leveraging innovative products such as MLED, smart dimming glass, and perovskite to deepen its foothold in the European market.
Currently, BOE allocates approximately 7% of its annual revenue to R&D, has accumulated over 100,000 patent applications, maintains sales and service locations across 15 countries and regions, and serves more than 5,000 global clients. In 2025, BOE launched "Open Next Earth," the first sustainability brand in China's display industry, and has committed to achieving company-wide operational "carbon neutrality" by 2050.
In the innovation showcase, BOE presented three sections—"LIGHT for Future," "LIGHT for Life," and "LIGHT for Society"—featuring products like an 85-inch UB Cell TV with four-sided "zero" bezels, a mirror-like "seamless" OLED flexible screen, and the BYH Ultra P0.9 high-end COB display. These exhibits span BOE's full array of mainstream display technologies, including LCD, OLED, and MLED. Additionally, BOE highlighted cutting-edge advancements in perovskite photovoltaics, light-curtain flexible dimming skylights, and 3D light-field displays.
