Market Close Summary: Domestic Futures Show Mixed Performance with SC Crude Oil Surging Over 5%

On September 9, 2026, domestic major futures contracts presented a mixed yet predominantly upward trend during the closing session.

Leading the gains, SC Crude Oil climbed more than 5%, while Methanol increased by over 4%. Pure Benzene advanced more than 3%, and both Propylene and PX0> Paraxylene rose nearly 3%. Additionally, Fuel Oil, Styrene (EB), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Polyester Staple Fiber, and PTA all gained more than 2%.

On the downside, Palladium dropped over 2%, while Ferrosilicon, Urea, and Palm Oil each fell by more than 1%.
