Shares of YIDU TECH (02158) jumped more than 5% during the morning session. At the time of writing, the stock had climbed 5.51%, trading at HK$3.93 with a turnover of HK$6.155 million. The surge comes as the company continues to push forward with modularizing and standardizing its medical agent capabilities.
Tencent officially launched its WorkBuddy open platform on September 2, covering more than 20 sectors including healthcare and finance. The initial rollout features five major ecosystem capabilities: Buddy applications, experts, Skills, connectors, and hardware. Notably, YIDU TECH's clinical evidence-based agent "Yidu Zhixun" Skill has become one of the first batch to be integrated into the WorkBuddy medical AI workbench.
YIDU TECH's partnership with Tencent has already been established through previous multi-dimensional strategic collaboration, and this latest move marks a further deepening of their ecosystem cooperation. By leveraging WorkBuddy as a universal AI work entry point, Yidu Zhixun's professional medical evidence capabilities can now reach physicians and professional users in a more lightweight Skill format, opening new pathways for evidence-based capabilities to enter additional AI task scenarios.
Since the start of this year, the company has focused on advancing the modularization and standardization of its healthcare agent capabilities. Its AI platform now supports two new standards: the MCP model context protocol and the Skill modular capability paradigm. This enables the combination of medical knowledge, large model capabilities, and professional tools to rapidly build healthcare agents tailored to different specialties and scenarios. To date, YIDU TECH, together with medical institutions and experts, has developed more than 280 specialty-specific scenario agents covering use cases such as medical record generation, assisted diagnosis and treatment, risk assessment, and patient education.
