Anhui Expressway Co Ltd (HKG: 00995) has announced that its board approved a resolution on September 8, 2026, to nominate Mr. Pan Ping as a candidate for the position of new independent non-executive director.

The nomination follows the resignation of Mr. Zhang Jianping, who has served as an independent non-executive director for six consecutive years. His resignation will become effective once the company's shareholder meeting elects a new independent non-executive director to fill the vacancy.

The proposed election of Mr. Pan Ping remains subject to shareholder approval at a general meeting. The company plans to convene an extraordinary general meeting in due course to review and approve the appointment of Mr. Pan Ping as independent non-executive director.
