Emergent BioSolutions Repurchases $75 Million of Senior Unsecured Notes Due 2028

Emergent BioSolutions (EBS) said Thursday that it has completed the repurchase of $75 million aggregate principal amount of 3.875% senior unsecured notes due 2028.
The biopharmaceutical company deployed about $68 million in cash toward the effort, representing an average repurchase price of 90.6% of face value.
The buyback reduces the aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes due 2028 to approximately $364.7 million, the company said, adding that it continues to evaluate market conditions for refinancing the remaining outstanding senior unsecured notes, which mature in Aug. 2028.
Shares of the company were up 1.9% in Thursday premarket activity.
