New OpenAI Model May Fuel Next Wave of Corporate AI Adoption

0256 GMT - OpenAI's new GPT-6 Astra could accelerate AI adoption across industries and sustain strong demand for AI infrastructure, according to a Nomura report. The brokerage says the model marks a major step forward in AI systems' ability to tackle complex tasks, adapt to unfamiliar situations and carry out agent-like work over longer periods. Nomura warns that companies that fail to incorporate AI into their operations risk becoming less competitive as the technology advances. It adds that the race to build AI data center capacity is unlikely to ease anytime soon.
