EV Resources (ASX:EVR) said preliminary metallurgical results from material sourced from the Vinatas antimony operation in Mexico achieved almost 79% cumulative antimony recovery, producing a flotation concentrate grading about 59% antimony using a conventional reagent scheme, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Gravity upgrading of the flotation concentrate using a Wilfley shaking table produced a high-grade stibnite concentrate grading about 68% antimony with only 4.4% silicon dioxide, demonstrating effective silica rejection and concentrate upgrading, the filing added.
