Kintor Pharma Shares Rise as Skin Tone Treatment Inches Closer to Approval After Trial Results

Kintor Pharmaceutical (HKG:9939) has disclosed positive results from the long-term safety trial of its skin tone correcting treatment, KT-939, according to a Monday bourse filing.

Preliminary data showed that KT-939 was safe and well-tolerated, and participants treated with it for about a year did not experience any adverse skin reactions, the company said.

Kintor said it is now working to advance KT-939's registration application for approval by the National Medical Products Administration before launching it commercially.

The company's shares are up 5.5% in midday trading on the HKEX.
