Trump Sees Possibility of 'Deals' with Democrats if GOP Loses Midterms

President Trump held out the possibility of making "deals" with a Democratic Congress and rejected the idea that his legacy was in peril if Republicans lose their majorities after the midterm elections.

"It's never as important," he told Fox News's Laura Ingraham when asked if the midterms were as important to his legacy as the presidential election. "Look, I'm campaigning for other people. When you say my legacy, I'll be a block. I'll end up being a blocker. I'll block all their bad stuff for two years. It won't be the same, but I'll be a blocker."

"What can I tell you? And probably be able to make deals with them. You know, they're going to want some stuff-you'll make deals. It's one of those things." He also seemed to take the possibility of a third impeachment as an inevitability if Democrats retake the House, saying matter of factly: "They'll try and impeach."
