UBS has recruited a trio of financial advisor teams managing around $2.65 billion in client assets. The teams joined UBS on Friday, according to registration records.

The Mason Cisney Alcon Wealth Management Group, based in Pueblo, Colo., managed $1.4 billion at Morgan Stanley and produced annual revenue of more than $3.5 million. The practice is led by advisors Caitlin Alcon, Calvin Mason, and Craig Cisney, and includes support staffers Nancy Wickham and Delaney Delport.

The team joins UBS' Mountain West Market, overseen by Mitch Markley, who lauded the advisors' "dedication, professionalism, and service."

"Their passion for helping others, both professionally and personally, reflects the culture we strive to foster every day," he says. The team will report directly to Market Director Justin French.

Alcon first registered as a broker in 2005 with Piper Jaffray and became dually registered as an investment advisor in 2007 when she was with RBC Capital Markets, according to registration records. Mason's brokerage career began with Merrill Lynch in 1992. He registered as an investment advisor in 1999 at Wells Fargo. Before entering the financial services sector, Cisney spent 17 years as a TV meteorologist with a Colorado Springs affiliate of NBC, according to UBS. He first registered as a broker and investment advisor in 2013 with Morgan Stanley.

Also joining UBS is a three-advisor team in the Washington, D.C., suburb of Bethesda, Md. Richard Horn, Jeffrey Deckelbaum, and Gerald Horn, Richard's son. The team was most recently with Morgan Stanley, where they managed $750 million in assets and generated about $4.4 million in annual revenue.

Morgan Stanley declined to comment on the teams' departures.

Richard Horn began his career with E.F. Hutton in 1987 and, following a series of deals among Wall Street firms, registered with Morgan Stanley in 2009, according to the online database BrokerCheck. Deckelbaum first registered as a broker and investment advisor with Citigroup Global Markets in 2007 and moved to Morgan in 2009. The younger Horn first registered with Morgan Stanley as a broker in 2020 and dually registered as an advisor in 2021.
