Kokuyo Concludes 15 Billion Yen Share Buyback Program

Kokuyo (TYO:7984) completed its share repurchase program after acquiring 998,700 common shares for 923.3 million yen, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
With the Sept. 1-8 repurchases, Kokuyo acquired a total of 17.8 million shares for nearly 15 billion yen, effectively utilizing the full authorized amount and completing the program earlier.
The original resolution authorized the acquisition of up to 20 million shares, representing 4.6% of outstanding stock, for a maximum of 15 billion yen from April 16 to Dec. 31.
