HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (KRX:329180) plans to invest 238.6 billion won to build a small modular reactor equipment manufacturing facility, according to a Thursday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The investment aims to support HD Hyundai Heavy Industries' entry into SMR major equipment manufacturing and meet growing order volumes by building a dedicated SMR manufacturing facility, installing production equipment, optimizing existing facilities, and acquiring related assets.
