Copart (CPRT) said late Thursday it will acquire ACV Auctions (ACVA) for $10.50 per share in cash, valuing the latter at about $1.9 billion.

ACV shares soared 45% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 94.1 million from a daily average of about 3.9 million.

Frequency Electronics (FEIM) shares surged 36% amid heavy trading after the company reported fiscal Q1 net income and revenue late Thursday that beat market expectations.

More than 1.1 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 302,000.

Dell Technologies (DELL) is poised to benefit from a multi-year artificial intelligence infrastructure spending cycle, setting the stage for results to sustain above long-term targets, RBC Capital Markets said in a client note.

Shares jumped 11%, with intraday trading volume rising to over 10.9 million from a daily average of about 7.5 million.
