Shoe Station Group shares fell 4.5% in afternoon trading on Thursday after the company posted lower net income and net sales for fiscal Q2 and cut its fiscal 2026 guidance.
The company reported fiscal Q2 net income of $0.23 per diluted share, down from $0.70 a year earlier.
Net sales for the quarter ended Aug. 1 were $284.3 million, down from $306.4 million a year earlier.
Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expected revenue of $296.9 million.
The company reduced its fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $0.75 to $0.90 from the previous range of $1.40 to $1.60. Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.26.
Shoe Station also reduced its fiscal 2026 net sales guidance to a range of $1.1 billion to $1.11 billion from the previous range of $1.13 billion to $1.15 billion. Three analysts expect revenue of $1.12 billion.
