Orient Technologies Signs $3.2 Million Contract for Cybersecurity Wing Expansion

Orient Technologies (NSE:ORIENTTECH, BOM:544235) signed a $3.2 million three-year contract with Securonix for the expansion of its cybersecurity business, according to a Thursday bourse disclosure.
Additional planned investments over the course of the expansion will bring the total investment to $5 million, alongside plans to hire 100 cybersecurity professionals and achieve 12% growth in customer footprint.
The partnership expands Orient's mandate as Securonix's exclusive Value-Added Distributor (VAD) and joint go-to-market partner in India.
Alongside this, the company will build capabilities across implementation, professional services, support, managed security, and SOC enablement.
