EcoGraf (ASX:EGR) said a soil geochemistry sampling program was completed across the Golden Eagle gold project in Tanzania, with a total of 2,659 samples collected, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
All samples have been logged and submitted to SGS Mwanza for gold and multi-element analysis.
The gold project is subject to AngloGold Ashanti's five-year $9 million farm-in agreement. During the first year of the agreement, AngloGold Ashanti's focus is on geological sampling and data collection to aid with target generation and drill planning.
The sampling area covers the directly interpreted northeast continuation of the Banded Iron formation that hosts the Winston gold deposit.
